Being social can sometimes feel like a full-time job. It’s a simple situation that many find themselves with. What will I do? I have asked myself enough times to drive myself crazy. With so many things going on, at all times the space for downtime is limited and the idea of social interaction is daunting. I know the one approach is to jump onto the google machine and ask that tried, tested and failed question “something to do in X this weekend / NOW!” but as per my previous failed attempts, this leads to a waste of a few hours going in and out of rabbit holes until I lose the will to continue and go back to something distracting until the next bright possibility of time happens again and I can repeat this wonderful process.
Then came date night…
Yes, that was the added pressure of what will WE love to do. I can’t find something that I, a lonesome person could decide upon but instead decide for two AND with the lovely addition of trying to impress or not screw up the decision in some spectacular fashion.
It doesn’t go as well as you would think.
As a result, I approached it with whatever skills I had, and for me that was programming. I put my time and effort into writing a simple (not so simple) system to help me answer that simple (still not so simple) question of “WHAT TO DO!!?>!” and Jajii was born. A system built to allow the focus on having a good time instead of all the stress of what that good time might be. And so I decided I wanted to offer it to anyone who needed/wanted it. No ads, no data breach nonsense. Find what you love at a time that suits you. Plus the more people using it the better the quality of the results!
Let’s take back our social time from “social” media. Sure, it’s great for taking up what free time you have with pointless nonsense but what about some good times with good friends and making moments together? Personally, I know which I want.
